FirstDo (先做) is a personal focus tool with a visual locker. The app supports English and Simplified Chinese, following your app language preference. This is the official support page; App Store availability is subject to release approval.
Get started
- Open Settings using the slider icon. Authorize Screen Time, select specific distracting apps and enable restrictions.
- Add a task with a clear completion standard and a focus duration. Choose self-review, on-device AI or an in-person reviewer.
- Start your focus period. When you finish, submit your result for review. A completed required task earns one break; restrictions resume after the break ends.
Common questions
Why is an app still available?
Selection alone does not enable restrictions. In Settings, check authorization, selected apps and the enable control. Individual Screen Time permission can be revoked and FirstDo can be uninstalled. It does not lock your entire phone.
Why is AI unavailable?
AI review requires iOS 26 or later, a compatible device and an available Apple Intelligence model. It reviews text and text recognized in photos, not general visual proof. It can make mistakes. A failed or unavailable review does not unlock apps.
Who keeps the reviewer code?
A trusted person sets and keeps the 8-digit code. After inspecting the completed work in person, they enter it on your phone. Five wrong attempts pause further attempts for 10 minutes. Changing the code requires the previous code. There is no in-app self-service reset.
When do tasks repeat?
Break expiry advances the task queue. A completed round can be followed by another round. Daily and weekday plans follow your iPhone’s time zone, including daylight saving time.
Can FirstDo prove that I worked?
No. The timer measures elapsed time, not actual work. AI and codes cannot guarantee that a real-world task is complete. FirstDo is a productivity tool, not a medical diagnosis or treatment.
